ECA started as World's Faith Missionary Association in 1887; on March 28, 1928 it was incorporated in Missouri and on July 21, 1958 it's name was changed to Evangelical Church Alliance. ECA's purpose is to promote Evangelical Christianity throughout the world. ECA is a licensing organization for Ministers and Christian workers and along with that are opportunities for fellowship and encouragement. Page 10 of the ministers manual states: "We believe that at certain periods of history in various places God raised up leaders for the purpose of calling men and women to himself. From these men sprang various denominations which God has used in effectively spreading the Gospel." Page 19 states concerning those who differ: "We practice the well known aphorism. In all things essential unity; in things non-essential, liberty; and in all things charity." |

We at Nikao Ministries believe God is still raising up men and women in various places to call people to himself. The above mentioned aphorism was used by John Alexander Dowie while addressing the Second General Conference of Believers Interested In The Christian Catholic Church on February 5, 1896. |
